 i pay for everything with cash. i do not own and credit cards and dont think i ever will. i only buy what i can afford, and save if it is high cost item.

We don't charge anything ever; we pay cash, starting around the beginning of December.  I never want to pay a credit card bill!

 shop November/December - put it on Amex and pay it off as soon as the bill comes.  This works fine for us since we buy what we can afford.  

We never carry a balance over on our Amex or any other cc.  

I buy what I can afford.  I also spend a few months really planning what I want to get my daughter.  Before I Christmas shop I clean out her toys and consign the toys she never plays with.  This money goes into the Christmas pot.  I do not think Christmas is about gift giving, it is just a fun part of the tradition, so I don't stress like I used too. 

None of the choices fit me.

My husband and I have a cafeteria plan for all our medical expenses.  We turn in our receipts two times a year....first one is for our summer vacation and the second one pays for Christmas.
